This is a nice motel with a nice staff. It's a perfect three - right in the middle. The rooms were cleaned completely daily, but a pervasive musty smell still lingers. The shower has great pressure and hot water (and toiletries include brand name conditioner in addition to soap and shampoo - a little thing that I really appreciate and is less and less common in economy establishments), but the shower rod that was broken the first night we stayed there and still broken a few days later (when we stayed in the same room. The complimentary breakfast is full featured with sausage gravy and biscuits, omelets coffee, juices, toast, cereals, etc. - as long as staff could keep everything stocked up (to be fair, though, I think it was a particularly busy day). The parking lot is well lit, but the side doors are kept open allowing people access to the building without having to go through the lobby and staff.
Guest service was excellent, both evening and morning crew. Making a reservation was quick and easy, even with our short notice. I would like to extend a big thank you to the staff if the Super 8 in Newton!
Was clean and friendly. Right off the interstate and my wife and I also enjoyed the walking trail nearby.
In short, I completely enjoyed my stay and would definitely choose this motel again, but if you are particular about some little things, manage your expectations accordingly.

It's conveniently located right off the highway and although the building is not visible from the road, a large sign, high above everything else, can't be missed. There is a gas station with a good sized convenience store across the street and a pizza/sandwich shop adjacent to the motel - so there is easy access to food and simple supplies.
The room was nice, clean and comfortable. Breakfast wasn't great. Front desk people were very nice and friendly.
